We are raising funds to transform the old Fireside/Elks building into a Performing Arts Center. Follow along with our progress, and tell your friends! Lallette, PAC Chair
The Ketchikan Performing Arts Center is already occupied on the bottom floor by the First City Players. Storage and shop space will be refined, and a bank of public restrooms will complete the first floor in the final stages. The second floor will have four large studios, offices and dressing rooms with restrooms and will be occupied for the most part by Ketchikan Theatre Ballet. The top floor will have an open performance/event space with fully equipped dressing rooms, convertible staging and seating, a lobby and a commercial kitchen. This floor will be available on a priority basis to the performing arts but also to the general public. With timely funding from the state, city, borough, private grantors and local citizens, the building can be completed by 2014.
Private donations are being accepted in all denominations. There will be special recognition for all donations of $1000 or more.
